British companies to spend more than ?1.75 Billion on search campaigns
It's been reported by e-Consultancy based on their research that British companies will spend over ?2.75 Billion on search campaigns this year and that's set to rise.
The majority of this spend is in paid advertising (?2.42 Billion), leaving ?330 Million spent on search engine optimisation an increase of 30% over last year. Although the rate of growth is lower than the previous year it's still very healthy with a positive outlook.

It has been reported that Google Chrome has topped the list of fastest moving UK search terms for last week. Google Chrome has been launched to compete with Microsoft Internet Explorer which holds over 70% of the Internet Browser market.
When Google unveiled its new browser (2/9/08), it was touted as a faster and more reliable experience for those using the Web for everything from e-mail and word processing, to music and video.
