Speculation that AOL and Yahoo will merge

Much of the news this past few days is of a speculation that AOL and Yahoo will merge. The 'story' if there is one yet issummed up well by Ars Technica . Personally I think this would BAD fro the internet community. AOL is worse than a virus whilst Yahoo search is probably the best quality search engine out there. Its a shame it needs to consider such moves in order to compete with Google.
