Yorganic presents to the Franchise Marketing Association

M.D. Carl Spencer yesterday presented to the British Franchise Marketing Association at the Hyatt in Birmingham on the subject of Online Marketing covering the following topics;

  • Banner Advertising
  • Pay-per-click & Google Adwords
  • Search Engine Optimisation
  • Affiliate Networks
  • Email Marketing
  • Price Comparison
  • Local Search
  • Social Networking
  • Viral Marketing
  • RSS & News
  • Brand Intelligence

The Event went down well with the audience of approximately 120 franchisors with Carl receiving positive delegate feedback;

  • good knowledge, very interesting and helpful
  • very good
  • made it slightly more complicated than he needed to
  • knew what he was talking about but a bit too technical
  • good content, more examples would have been useful
  • complicated subject, but very informative
  • I have a little knowledge of seo and ppc but some of this went over my head!
  • very interesting, will have to read the slides again when i get back
  • valuable information but I think the technical language needed more clarifying for both.
  • a bit jargon filled but a good choice of subject, maybe it just needed to be brought down a level for technophobics
  • good topic & useful
  • very knowledgeable person

And, I  thought I kept the presentation very simple. And.... I did ask how many people had experience of SEO/PPC before I started so, I knew where to pitch it. Hey ho you can't win them all and those that didn't complain that it was too technical clearly did enjoy the presentation.
